kernel.CollectiveMathFlags enum¶
Floating-point collective requirements. Without preserve, sums and products use the target's native collective arithmetic, including its intermediate precision and exceptional-value behavior. Extrema always retain the selected combining kind's NaN and signed-zero semantics. Unsupported requirements fail compilation rather than weakening semantics.
Cases¶
| Keyword | Value | Description |
|---|---|---|
preserve |
1 | Require a parallel tree of source-format combining operations, preserving their rounding, subnormal, signed-zero, and nonfinite semantics. This does not prescribe a tree or serial evaluation order. |
